postfix/smtp[5600]: fatal: valid hostname or network address required in server description

Getting the error:

mail postfix/smtp[5600]: fatal: valid hostname or network address required in server description: [email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:25]

To solve this the definition in the postfix config should be like this:

[email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com]:25

NOT:

[email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:25]
