LiPo Charging Hack

When trying to charge a LiPo that had been drained to 0 voltage I was getting an error:

Balance port not connected

This happened when I under charged the battery by leaving the receiver on overnight.

When this happens just google the hookup for your balance port and then charge each cell for about 10-20 mins at 0.05 or until its above 2.5 volts each cell via the balance port directly (not in LiPo mode but in NiMH mode). Once there is some charge in each cell you can then finish charging the battery as normal in LiPo mode. Do not leave the battery unattended whilst charging and check the temperature of the battery frequently.

If you got to this point and drained the battery this low from experience, you might have anywhere from 5 to 20 charges until the battery will never work again.
